丹霞地貌是一种以赤壁丹崖为特色的红色陆相碎屑岩地貌。 近水平岩层构成的丹霞地貌坡面，自上而下分为三种类型： （1）受近水平岩层面控制的层面顶坡。 （2）受垂直节理控制的陡崖坡。 （3）受崩积岩块内摩擦角控制的崩积缓坡。    “顶平、身陡、麓缓”三种坡面，是丹霞地貌中最基本、最简单的坡面类型，也是丹霞地貌的基本形态特征。 Danxia landform is a red terrestrial clastic rock landform characterized by red cliff.
